How to Access the IAAP Webinar System

Access to the webinar and handout materials are for registered participants only.

The instructions on how to access your webinar on the date of the event are included in the confirmation email you received when you registered.

Before the Day of the Webinar

First Time Users of Adobe Connect:

To save time before the meeting, test your connection to make sure it is ready to use Adobe Connect. You should do this a few days prior to the date of the webinar.

Meeting participants are only required to have Adobe Flash Player 11.2 or later installed.

If you plan to connect via a mobile device, you will need to install the free Adobe Connect mobile app. Copy and paste the meeting URL into the mobile app.

Accessing the Webinar:

On the day of the webinar you can connect up to 30 minutes prior to the start of the webinar. It is recommended that you enter the room at least ten minutes prior to the start.

Troubleshooting:

Unable to join the meeting? Check to be sure you are using the correct access instructions for the webinar.

If the connection test above passed successfully, you should be ready to log in to your meeting. However, if you continue to experience problems, please refer to troubleshooting tips.

To check your system requirements, please review the system requirements on the Adobe website.

Still having problems? If you still cannot enter the meeting, contact technical support at 866.220.2319 (toll-free) or 706.634.3513 (international). Or you can always access the audio portion of the webinar via conference call and follow along with the handouts provided via the link in the confirmation email.

Accessibility:

All IAAP webinars will be captioned. In addition, all webinars will include handouts. These handouts are typically a complete set of the slides to be used during the webinar broadcast. If utilizing a screen reader, attendees can access our Adobe Connect webinar system with the screen reader or they may prefer to follow along with the handout and via the conference call line provided. For additional details about Adobe Connect accessibility, go to this Adobe Connect Accessibility Features page. If you need additional accessibility services, please contact us at least two weeks in advance of the date of the webinar at webinars@accessibilityassociation.org.

Cancellation Policy:

If a webinar is canceled at the discretion of IAAP, all webinar registration fees will be refunded. Unfortunately, we cannot provide a refund for cancellation by a registrant.

Notice for Live Broadcasts:

Adobe Connect can be used to record meetings. By participating in a Live Broadcast webinar, you agree that your communications may be monitored or recorded at any time during the webinar.
