Speaker Bio

Lainey Feingold is a disability rights lawyer, author, and public speaker who has worked with the blind community on technology, digital, and information access issues for more than two decades. Her book, "Structured Negotiation, A Winning Alternative to Lawsuits", was published by the American Bar Association in 2016. Using Structured Negotiation, and without filing lawsuits, Lainey, her clients and co-counsel have negotiated landmark accessible information and technology agreements with major organizations in the US, including Bank of America, Major League Baseball, Walmart, Anthem, Inc. and the City and County of San Francisco.  This year, the ABA Section of Dispute Resolution named Lainey the individual recipient of the John W. Cooley Lawyer as Problem Solver Award.
