About AT&T

AT&T is bringing it all together for our customers, from revolutionary smartphones to next-generation TV services and sophisticated solutions for multinational businesses.

For more than a century, we have consistently provided innovative, reliable, high-quality products and services and excellent customer care. Today, our mission is to connect people with their world, everywhere they live and work, and do it better than anyone else. We're fulfilling this vision by creating new solutions for consumers and businesses and by driving innovation in the communications and entertainment industry.

From the very beginning, the telephone’s purpose was to bridge a communications divide. As we look toward the future, we see technology continuing to bring people closer together and helping them achieve their fullest potential. This vision includes people with disabilities. We believe that modern telecommunications technology has the potential to be a great equalizer, giving millions of Americans with disabilities more access to employment and educational opportunities than ever before.

We believe that this is a vision shared by other companies and individuals and that it can best be achieved by working together. This was a major reason why we chose to help found IAAP. We look forward to building an association that will not only advance technical understanding of how to make information and communications technology universally accessible, but also educate the global community that accessibility is not about what cannot be done, but a key source of innovation for how to make our world even better.
